Our Services

Medical Director
The Hospice care team is led by our Medical Director, who oversees the medical management of all Hospice services. Empathetic and compassionate by nature, the Medical Director focuses on symptom driven interventions to ensure attainment of the goals that are identified as important to the individual and their families.

Serenity Hospices recognizes the importance of the relationship that exists between the patient and their primary physician prior to electing Hospice. Therefore, Serenity promotes that relationship by including the family physician as an integral member of the team. If an individual does not have a primary physician, the Hospice Medical Director may serve as the individual's primary physician.

Melissa Morris, RN, Patient Care Manager

"It is truly an honor to be chosen to assist patients and their loved ones through this journey. It is our goal to ensure each patient receives quality, individualized compassionate care. It is my pleasure to work beside and lead such an amazing clinical team!"

Serenity Hospice provides Registered Nurses who utilize their years of Hospice care experience to provide comfort to each patient.

Hospice nurses visit routinely and perform assessments while coordinating any additional aspects of care necessary to provide comfort and reach the patient's goals. They can offer suggestions of helpful interventions, coordinate with the physician to ensure adequate medication is available and provide insight and education to family and patients about what experiences may occur along the journey.

Hospice Aides

Serenity's HHA's provide comfort to both the patient and their caregivers.
